Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi was founded in the year 2012. HIMSR New Delhi is a private medical institute and it is a constituent college of Jamia Hamdard. Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Delhi (HIMSR) has provision for distribution of scholarships/ free ships to candidates on merit-cum-means basis. Tuition fee concession is offered to the students of weaker sections of the society with parents' income below Rs 4.5 LPA. Students are also granted a fee concession of 25-50% on the basis of Merit-cum-Means and on a case-to-case basis.

HIMSR MSc admission is entrance based with the institute accepting NEET PG scores. The minimum eligibility requirement for the course is holding a Bachelor's degree in Life Science subject with 55% aggregate. For BDS / MBBS, candidates must have at least 50% aggregate.
