Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College and Hospital (MMMCH) was founded in 2013 as a part of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan (or MMU Solan). It is under the supervision of the MM University Trust, which was established by Shri Tarsem Kumar Garg. MMMCH Solan offers medical courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

MMU Solan offers seats to candidates in the MBBS programme based on their NEET-UG scores. Aspirants with a valid NEET score are offered seat through centralised counselling conducted by Government of Himachal Pradesh. The seats are available under State Quota and Management Quota in the MBBS programme. Once selected, aspirants can confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English are eligible to apply for MBBS programme at MMU Solan. Aspirants who have passed BSc examination of an Indian university provided that he or she has passed the exam with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/ Zoology), Biotechnology can also apply.

Candidates while filling out the application form for MMU Solan need to upload some documents. In case of offline submission, aspirants are required to attach the below documents with the form:

A recent passport-size photograph (one pasted at the application form and other two additional copies appended with the application form)
Copies of Class 10, 12 and graduation marksheet
Caste certificate
Migration certificate
Certificate of Himachali bonafide resident for claiming seat under reserved categories for Himachali's
Copy of aadhar card

Candidates who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply for MMU Solan UG courses. The university offers BSc, BVoc, MBBS, BSc Nursing, etc. at the UG level. The aggregate requirement for most of the UG programmes is 50%. There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates for some of the courses. Candidates also need to appear for entrance test for admission to a few UG programmes.
